Kingsley Academy is a leading SEND school in Wolverhampton providing personalised primary and secondary education for children with special educational needs across the UK. We help students aged 11–16 build confidence, develop real-life skills, and achieve their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.
Practical pathways spark interest and teach real skills, so students learn by doing and connect school to work.
Small groups and tailored plans focus on strengths, wellbeing and steady progress one step at a time.
We embed employability and functional skills so students leave better prepared for work, college or training.

We support young people who have struggled in mainstream education through our SEND school in Wolverhampton. Our small class sizes, hands-on learning, and consistent pastoral care provide personalised SEND support, helping each student build confidence, gain qualifications such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and progress towards a positive future.
We write simple, clear learning plans that match interests and needs, so progress is visible and achievable.
Work-based tasks and hands-on projects blend with English and maths in a way that makes sense to each student.
Staff listen, coach and keep things calm. Small steps, steady routines and consistent support make school feel safe again.
Parents or schools can begin the admissions process by submitting referral details. Our team carefully reviews each child’s needs to provide the right SEND support.
We meet families and partners, then agree a plan. Simple. Clear. Focused on wellbeing and progress.
We welcome referrals all year. Flexible part-time or full-time places help young people find a route back into learning.
An independent school based in Wolverhampton, we offer small-group vocational learning, functional skills and strong pastoral care. Our goal is simple: help students gain qualifications, confidence and clear next steps towards work or further study.
We sit near the train station for easy travel and work closely with local schools, social care and training providers. Referrals are welcome at any time; placements are flexible, so each young person gets the right amount of time and support. We aim for sustainable change, and small wins that add up to lasting progress.
It was a pleasure visiting you, the staff, and the school. After we left, my son said he’d happily go there. That meant a lot, especially given how anxious he felt before the visit. Thank you again.
Further to our visit to Kingsley Academy on Wednesday 15th October, Helen’s support has been life-changing for my son. Her care, passion, and flexible approach put his happiness first. An off-site, activity-led placement feels right, and we hope his case moves forward quickly.
